Can I have a link for some ROMs?
How do I sort for a tag?
- Above the columns but below the description is a row of menus that scroll left and right independently of the main list (especially on mobile); clicking on these menus brings up a selection of tags that you can sort by.
- Picking a tag from column A and a tag from column B will only show hacks that have both tags.
- Picking multiple tags in a single column will show you any hacks that have either tag, not both tags.
- I don't love this, but I have attempted to cluster the tags in such a way that still makes for easy sorting. Let me know if there's something you want to do but can't~
Can I filter out a tag I don't want?
- Yup! When you click on a category to sort, at the top, there should be a way you can select ‘Does Not Contain’ to filter out a tag you don't want to see!
Where do the descriptions/images come from?
- I try to quote directly from the github or pokecommunity thread or romhack.net page wherever possible, using only publicly available information. That isn't always possible, so I try to always say where my source is from.
- If a link is at the bottom of an entry of text, it was in all likelihood quoted from there.
- The images are likewise, except when provided directly by the creators (whenever possible)
I found something wrong! How do I fix it?
- On any given entry of the Codex, if you click the 'X more properties' bit at the bottom of the categories, there should be a link at the bottom of each page called Request Edit, that if you click, will allow you to post an edit request that I can look over and approve manually, without anyone having to interact with me if they don't want to~
- Alternatively; send me a DM on Discord or Reddit, where my name is themanynamed.
I am the creator of a hack and I want something changed, altered, or removed; what do I do?
- On any given entry of the Codex, if you click the 'X more properties' bit at the bottom of the categories, there should be a link at the bottom of each page called Request Edit, that if you click, will allow you to post an edit request that I can look over and approve manually, without anyone having to interact with me if they don't want to~
- Alternatively; just send me a DM on Discord or Reddit saying who you are and what you want changed; my name is themanynamed.
I'm making a hack, can it be on the Codex?
